1. CalledOut Music, “Portraits” (2020)

CalledOut Music has been making waves, not only in the UK Gospel music scene, but around the world, with his afrobeats-infused vibe mixed with CCM, and we’re loving it over here. He recently released “Portraits” - standout cuts include the single “Warm Embrace” and “Anything”, but the whole project is great!

2. Jonathan McReynolds, “People” (2020)

We’ve been big fans of Jonathan McReynolds over here at One Sound Music for years - he’s truly revolutionsing the gospel music scene with his introspective lyrics and extremely silky vocals. Recently, he dropped his 4th project, a visual EP (the first we’ve seen in gospel! Check it out below.

3. Kierra Sheard, “KIERRA” (2020)

Kierra Sheard is a powerhouse gospel vocalist, daughter and niece to the incomparable Clark Sisters. If you like your gospel music eclectic, this album doesn’t disappoint. Incoporating numerous styles, it definitely takes the listener on a journey, with elements of R&B, trap, traditional gospel and CCM mixed up in one gumbo project.

4. L. Spenser Smith, “HOOKED” (2020)

A singer and a minister with a long history in the gospel music industry, L. Spenser Smith has released trailblazing gospel albums such as Assignment No. 1 and Statement, and he’s back with a new album entitled Hooked. With features such as Avery Sunshine and The Hamiltones, this is an album not to be missed out on!

5. The First Ladies Of Gospel: The Clark Sisters Biopic Soundtrack (2020)

Along with the release of the Clark Sisters’ biopic “The First Ladies Of Gospel” came an epic soundtrack to accompany it, featuring one of our favourites Kierra Sheard, and one of the most amazing talents of our generation, Shelea Frazier! A must-listen record for any traditional gospel lovers.
